Halloween runs from October 16 to November 9 inclusive on three servers: Scryde x2, x50 and x1000. Scryde x5 is the only server without Halloween. The Autumn Marathon runs alongside Halloween — see the end of the article.

Halloween Nightmare

The main Halloween activity and the main way to get Ghost Coin - Event. It's a role-playing game: every participant loses their look and name and plays for one of the sides — peaceful or hostile.

Goal and rules

• The goal is to survive and carry out as many Ghost Coins as possible.

• Stay in the zone for 20 minutes — then you get the scroll Safe Escape - Event, and you keep all the coins you collected.

• If you leave earlier, you lose 70% of the collected coins.

• The zone is an isolated location on Evil Island, entered via NPC Evil Spirit. It's open around the clock, with no time limit.

Roles

On entry everyone gets a peaceful role — Boy or Girl. You also respawn as this role after every death. There are 8 roles in total, 3 of them hostile. Each role has 4 levels: with each level its stats grow and new skills unlock.

Magic Pumpkin Stick and mushrooms

Every player gets a Magic Pumpkin Stick - 1 Level - Event. It grants the skill Uncover — it finds the hidden magic mushrooms in the event zone. Equip the stick and use Uncover, then pick the mushroom you found with Pick the Mushroom.

The stick can be upgraded up to level 4 at NPC Evil Spirit through synthesis — this takes Spore Powder - Event from mushrooms. Each level increases Uncover's radius and shortens its cooldown.

What else is in the zone

• Skeleton Army — three kinds of undead roaming the zone at random; they drop Ghost Coins.

• Power-up Runes — 5 kinds: higher regeneration, invisibility, run speed, invulnerability or full MP restore.

• Special Bosses — Ragnar and Sprout spawn at random; an announcement goes out when they appear.

• Hidden Spots — for example haystacks and closed rooms. Inside you're invisible, and peaceful roles also regenerate HP and MP faster.

How to get Ghost Coins

Ghost Coins are spent at NPC Steward — found in every town during the event: he exchanges coins for items and runs the Trick or Treat lottery.

On x2, x50 and x1000 every PvP win guarantees sweets: Pumpkin Candy - Event, Spooky Marmelade - Event or Fruit BOOM! - Event — up to 50 of each per day.

Gold Coin purchase bonus

During the event, buying Gold Coin also grants bonus Ghost Coin - Event: 1 Ghost Coin for every 10 Gold Coins.

Bracelet: Halloween Book - Event works like a bracelet, but only lost pages fit into it — up to 6. The Steward sells the pages, and each gives its own effect:

Dracula's Shirt

Dracula's Shirt - Event gains special stats as it's modified. It's upgraded with Scroll of Enchant Dracula Shirt - Event. On failure the shirt keeps its level, so sooner or later anyone can get it to the max. The scrolls are guaranteed from the Sea Beast and Mary Reed treasures, and also come from the calendar and sets.

Mysterious Potion - Event turns up throughout the event. Drink at your own risk: it gives a random positive or negative effect.

All mounts are sold by the Steward for 999 Ghost Coins. While riding you can use Invulnerability, Acceleration and Absolute Defense — 60 sec each, 60 min cooldown. The mounts are permanent and stay after the event, but their special skills are removed when it ends. Their run speed limit is raised to 300.

Helper Agathions and runes

Sold by the Steward for Gold Coins. A summoned agathion casts Spoil on the monster by itself and collects the extra reward, and raises all of the owner's rates by 20% (EXP, SP, Adena, Spoil, Drop, Epaulettes).

Pirate Ghost Ship

On Evil Island stands the cheeky Pirate Janitor Junior — long dead, but still guarding the entrance to the Ghost Ship. Talk to him and challenge the ghosts.

Mary Reed

• The instance resets daily, after the morning server restart.

• Entry from level 76, the boss is level 85.

• You need a full party of 9 players.

• You get 30 minutes for the boss, then the instance closes with no re-entry.

• There's a 65% chance of Sea Beast, and a 35% chance of Mary Reed.

• Everyone who dealt at least 1 hit to the boss gets the reward.

Pirate Grail Exchange

Pirate Grail - Event drops from the Ghost Ship bosses and is exchanged by the same NPC. Shared lots are in the first spoiler, the rest depends on the server:

Pumpkin Farm

The Personal Pumpkin Farm is an instance only you can enter. You get there via NPC Ben — the dead gardener on Evil Island. To grow pumpkins you need:

Pumpkin Farm

NPC Ben sells some of the consumables.

1. Pick a spot on the farm and plant a pumpkin by double-clicking the Pumpkin Seeds.

2. Water the growing pumpkins. Ripening takes 4 to 24 hours — the estimate is shown in the pumpkin's dialog.

3. Fertilize the soil by double-clicking the fertilizer — it shortens the ripening time. Each pumpkin's status is shown in its title.

4. Harvest and collect the reward — it depends on the pumpkin's stage.

• Pumpkins can only be planted on the Pumpkin Farm.

• You can grow up to 10 pumpkins at once, or up to 15 with a Premium Account.

• There's a small chance the pumpkin dies when watered.

The longer a pumpkin grows, the richer the harvest.

Imperial Pumpkin

Imperial Pumpkin - Event is awarded for growing the Imperial Pumpkin on the farm. It opens at once, each line is rolled separately — a single open can give several rewards.

Finale — Enchanted Pumpkin

Collecting all three parts, the player exchanges them for the Enchanted Pumpkin - Event. All positions are guaranteed (100%):

New: Bracelet's Life Stone

Halloween brings a new stone — Bracelet's Life Stone. It enchants a bracelet and gives it 3 random effects at once, out of a pool of 43 unique bonuses: combat stats, defense, speed, debuff resistance, PvP and PvE bonuses.

How to get it

• During Halloween — only the event version of the stone: Bracelet's Life Stone (Event). It's in the rewards calendar, Set #3, the Enchanted Pumpkin, the Trick or Treat lottery and the Autumn Marathon rewards.

• After the event ends the stone joins the game permanently in its regular version: Bracelet's Life Stone.

Result color

After enchanting, the bracelet has 3 effect lines: one from Group 1, one from Group 2 and a bonus one from Group 3. The result is highlighted with a color — the further along the scale, the rarer and stronger the combination:

Yellow → Blue → Purple → Orange → Red → Gold

Even without a top color, each of the three effects is a real bonus: the color shows the overall value of the combination and doesn't make the lower colors useless.

🐱 Orion the Cat: The Autumn Abduction

This autumn Scryde launches a seasonal game in Telegram: pick a cat, send it into the catacombs, clear the map, play mini-games and fight the Swamp Fiend. Prizes from chests and Pippo's Pyramid are sent to your Scryde account. The game launches on October 18 on all servers (Halloween item prizes everywhere except x5); the portal at the end of the story opens on November 24.

🍂 Autumn Marathon

From October 16 to November 9 inclusive, the Autumn Marathon runs on Scryde x2, x50 and x1000 — it starts and ends together with Halloween. Do what you usually do: farm, fight in the Olympiad, kill epics, grow pumpkins and run Halloween Nightmare. You earn Marathon Coins and Final Reward Fragments, and trade the fragments for the grand prize.

Tasks

Each task gives Marathon Coins and its own unique Final Reward Fragment. The Final Reward needs 6 different fragments — from any 6 of the 8 tasks.

Final Reward

There are two exchange options, and you can get only one of the two boxes:

• Marathon Box — for the fragments of any 6 tasks;

• Marathon Final Box — for all 8 fragments, with twice as much inside.

Marathon Coins

Marathon Coins are a bonus currency. You can spend them on consumables: Halloween sweets, Life Stones, Sapphire, runes and more. There's also a big lot for 1,000 coins — enough can be saved up from any 6 tasks.

Each task gives 150 coins; the Olympiad, Auto-Events and fortresses give 300. All 8 tasks give 1,650 coins.
