Hello everyone!
I’m coming today with the potential idea of making a few small adjustments to the Dye system.
Currently, with the recent launch of the x100 season, we’ve seen the introduction of a predefined dye selection system. However, many classes don’t use the same dyes for PvE, PvP, Epic raids, or Olympiad.
Here’s a simple example:
Summoners tend to play as fighters in PvE and therefore prioritize STR/DEX dyes,
then switch to a magic setup in PvP or Olympiad, going for INT/WIT or other combinations instead.
They might also use different dyes depending on whether the class is played in Light armor or switched to Robe.
The same goes for Soulhounds, who can play as hybrids (Mage/Fighter).
Or tanks, who might prefer STR for PvE and switch to CON for large-scale PvP, and so on for many other classes.
So why not implement a dye preset system?
For example, similar to the talent tree system with Choice A or B — two available dye setups that players can switch between when out of combat (e.g., from their PvE dyes to their PvP dyes).
Why not add the same functionality as the quick buff system — for example, a command like: .dye NameOfThePreset
And maybe even add an option to unlock additional dye setups for a gold fee — for instance, a temporary option lasting 30 days for 499 gold, allowing +1 / +2 / +3 / +4 extra dye slots (the duration and price are just examples).
Looking forward to hearing the opinions of Scryde players!
